What to Expect

Participants work closely with their host Rotary district to plan activities that may include:

  • Networking and relationship-building events.

  • Humanitarian service projects.

  • Professional and leadership development training.

Exchange Length and Format

  • Duration: 02 weeks to 03 months, depending on participant goals and Country / Host Rotary Club capabilities.

  • Format: Available as individual or group exchanges, with flexible arrangements to fit participant preferences upon arrival.

  • The Student

    Travel Health Insurance
    Travel Documents (Passport and Visas)
    Personal Expenses

  • The Host Rotary Club
    Accommodation - Home and Board,

1. INDIVIDUAL EXCHANGE
Non-Paid, Non-Academic Internships

What’s This Program About?
Perfect for those seeking short-term professional experience, these internships provide real-world exposure in fields that align with your goals. They last up to three months (visa rules apply), ensuring just enough time to make a big impact without interrupting your long-term plans.

  • Living Arrangements: You’ll stay with a local host family, providing a true cultural immersion experience with housing and meals covered.

  • Internship Setup: NGSE.NET arranges your internship placement with an organization or company prior to your arrival, setting you up for success from day one.

Who’s This For?
Young adults (18 to age 30) interested in hands-on, professional growth in an international setting.

2. GROUP EXCHANGES
Non-Paid, Non-Academic Internships

What’s This Program About?
Group exchanges bring together 6-10 participants for a 4-6 week journey, combining cultural and vocational exposure in a specific area of interest. You’ll explore a new field, connect with peers, and experience life abroad as a local.

  • Living Arrangements: Each participant stays with a host family, providing an authentic, supportive, and cost-free living experience.

  • Vocational Focus: Activities are tailored to specific educational or professional goals, giving you practical, real-world exposure to your chosen field.

Who’s This For?
Groups of young professionals (18 to age 30) or students with similar career or educational interests who are ready for a short but impactful experience.
